The total active U.S. hotel development pipeline comprises 2,770 projects totaling 292,806 rooms, according to the April STR/McGraw Hill Construction Dodge Pipeline Report.
In year-over-year comparisons for the week, occupancy was up 5.1% to 63.2%; ADR increased 5.2% to $107.18; and RevPAR jumped 10.5% to $67.70.
In year-over-year measurements, the country’s occupancy ended the week with a 0.6% increase to 64.2%; its ADR fell 1.7% to $127.82 Canadian dollars; and its RevPAR was down 1.1% to $82.02 Canadian dollars.
The Baird/STR Hotel Stock Index ended April with a 3.4% increase to 2,507 and is up 23.8% year-to-date 2012. The index ended 2011 at 2,025.
In year-over-year comparisons for the week, occupancy was up 6.4% to 65%; ADR increased 7.5% to $106.67; and RevPAR jumped 14.4% to $69.34.
