We are excited to announce that STR, STR Global and STR Analytics are now united as a single global brand: STR. 

More than a brand, STR is the name that unites our companies across the world. It stays true to our shared heritage and upholds the expert level of service and first-rate products our clients have come to expect from us, in the hospitality sector and beyond. Changes to our corporate brand are underway and will continue over the coming months. What will not change is our commitment to each and every one of our customers and partners.

 What will change? 

Our name and our logo. Effective 1 March 2016, STR, Inc., STR Global Limited and STR Analytics will be united under one brand: STR.

More than a brand, STR is the name that unites our company across the world. It stays true to our heritage and upholds the expert level of service and first-rate products our clients have come to expect from us, in the hotel sector and beyond.

This brand harmony will help us ensure we are providing the same high standard of service throughout all areas of our business across the world. Whether you are looking for a trend report in Mumbai or forecasting in Munich, you can rest assured you’ve come to the right place. As we look to the future, we also will apply our experience to advance performance across other industries.

What will not change?

We remain the global leader in providing data that is confidential, reliable, accurate and actionable, and our comprehensive reports empower our clients to strategize and compete within their markets. STR’s range of products and services, along with our team of global experts, consistently help our clients make better business decisions.

STR has exclusive hotel data for major markets across the world, and we constantly strive to improve our offerings. We know the industry better than anyone, and that’s why we are and will continue to be our clients’ first source for data and insights.

How will the updated STR brand impact my service contract? 

Our updated brand won’t change your day-to-day working relationship with us. The rebrand was initiated to create a stronger sense of unity within our company across the globe, and our top priority remains delivering on the service our clients have come to expect from us.  

Will this change the level of service I receive from STR?

No. In the long run, however, we believe these changes will help make our company even stronger so that we can continue improving our products and services. 

What’s coming next?

We’re implementing new technologies that will change the way organizations apply benchmarking. Our next-generation platform will provide enhanced data, visualization and analysis capabilities across our complete product portfolio. Looking ahead, the next generation of STR’s products and services will be about just that—looking ahead. 

Will I now have a different account manager or be working with STR representatives from different world regions? Will this change how I work with STR account managers or any departments within the company?

No, your main points of contact with our company and how you deal with them will not be affected.

Will my contacts’ phone number or email address change?

Phone numbers will all remain the same. Email addresses will change for STR Analytics and will use the @str.com domain, but STR Global will remain @strglobal.com for the time being.

Will customer support hours change?

No, we will maintain our current support hours.

United States: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. CST

Central/South America: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. BRT

Europe, Middle East, Africa: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. GMT

Asia Pacific: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. UTC

Will the updated brand affect how I enter my data?

No. Daily data must still be entered by 10 a.m. local time; weekly data must still be submitted by 10 a.m. CST on Tuesday; monthly data must still be entered by the 10th of every month. 

Will there be any change to the time of day when I receive my reports?

No. Delivery of reports will not be affected.

Will reports maintain the same format, data and information?

For the time being, only STAR and Trend reports will have visual changes. Those changes will only be the updated logo and colors. All other formatting, data and information in the reports will remain the same. Over the coming months, visual changes will be applied to other reports.

In what other industries will STR look to provide its data benchmarking services? 

At the moment, we’re implementing services for health clubs and self-storage units in the United States.
