Occupancy was up 1.3% to 66.8%, ADR was up 3.8% to $110.86 and RevPAR increased 5.2% to $74.04.
In year-over-year comparisons, occupancy fell 0.8% to 65.2%, ADR was up 1.3% to CAD$131.94 and RevPAR increased 0.5% to CAD$85.98.
Overall, the U.S. hotel industry’s occupancy was up 1.3% to 66.8%, ADR rose 3.8% to $110.86 and RevPAR increased 5.2% to $74.04.
Three markets in the Europe region achieved RevPAR increases of 15% or more during the month of April.
The Asia/Pacific region’s occupancy ended the month with a 0.5% decrease to 68.6%; its ADR dropped 2.3% to $127.20; and its RevPAR was down 2.8% to $87.22.
