    • Agile Project Manager

      Main Purpose of Job

      The Agile Project Manager combines principles of both Agile (SCRUM and Kanban) and Project Management into one role. They provide leadership and coaching to enable effective collaboration and self-organization of software development teams and QA teams to include leading and monitoring the daily ceremonies, working closely with the Product Owner while collaborating with the business and the team. This position will be responsible for mentoring Agile practices on the team; and works closely with subject matter experts to lead project efforts and build solutions. They also own the management of the execution of the project from Plan to Close, including project coordination, communication, and collaboration among project team members.  This includes the formulation of timelines, milestones, and project plans, as well as extensive coordination with departments such as IT, Marketing, Business Development, Operations, Client Services and Accounting in order to meet organizational goals. This is an office based role at the US headquarters in Hendersonville, TN. Expectation of less than 5% travel in support of projects.

    • Assistant General Counsel

      Main Purpose of Job

      Reporting to the General Counsel, the Assistant General Counsel’s primary duties consist of working directly with the executive, client services and business development teams of STR and STR’s affiliated company in the United Kingdom, STR Global Ltd (collectively the “STR Companies’”), on contract negotiations. These negotiations will be with the STR Companies’ clients, vendors and independent contractors. The Assistant General Counsel also, from time to time and as directed, works with and advises the STR Companies on intellectual property, anti-trust, compliance and other commercial matters, and assists the General Counsel with complex transactional projects and with managing litigation. The Assistant General Counsel acts as a “thought partner” for the General Counsel, as well as other members of the senior leadership team with regard to legal issues affecting the business. This position is based out of our U.S. Headquarters in Hendersonville, TN.  Expectation of less than 5% travel in support of projects, but travel could increase after the first couple of years.

      Main Purpose of Job 

      STR has recently launched a global visualization platform for hotel supply, pipeline, and closed data. You will help drive the research and innovate the product in new markets, as STR has an exciting plan to role out our new platform. You will also collaborate with our U.S. office and help identify and draft new research methodologies.
